EXECUTIVE RECRUITER POSITION SUMMARY:

Act as a trusted advisor and partner with clients to develop recruitment strategies for executive level positions. As a Principal, you will be responsible for developing research and recruiting strategies, screening and qualifying candidates (via phone and in-person), facilitating interviews with client search committees, conducting candidate references, facilitating offer negotiations, and providing robust project and client management across searches.

Additionally, as a Principal you will be responsible for assisting with identification of new potential clients, creating business development materials and strategies, and attending business development meetings.

Principals are also required to provide assistance as needed on internal initiatives.

SEARCH EXPECTATIONS:

Principals are expected to complete a minimum of five searches per calendar year.

INTERNAL INITIATIVES EXPECTATIONS:

Principals are expected to manage and complete a minimum of two internal projects per calendar year.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILTY:

  • Conduct in-depth industry research and client needs assessment at search kick-off
  • Work with Consultants to establish research strategies
  • Develop recruiting strategies
  • Create search scorecards and job specifications (based on input from client search committee)
  • Provide robust project management across each search (leverage internal search management tools)
  • Manage weekly update calls with client search committee and create associated deliverables
  • Conduct candidate screening and interviewing (via phone and in-person) and assess candidates against position scorecard and job specification
  • Conduct candidate references and confidential back-channels
  • Facilitate offer negotiations
  • Build and maintain a network of executives and private equity stakeholders
  • Identify potential new clients and support business development efforts
  • Attend relevant industry conferences and events 
  • Stay up to date on latest software, private equity, and capital market trends 
  • Stay abreast of private equity business models, growth-equity organizational and operational structures and executive cash and equity compensation 
  • Provide support to internal initiatives 
  • Assist with new team member on-boarding 
  • Contribute to and foster Bespoke Partners mission, vision, and culture 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of Recruitment experience

 

 

 

RESEARCH ANALYST POSITION SUMMARY:

The Research Analyst supports Principals and Partners in the development, execution, and completion of search assignments. The Research Analyst is responsible for developing a candidate identification strategy, reviewing and analyzing research data, identifying potential candidates, and assessing the highest priority candidates. In addition, s/he will retrieve and analyze relevant prior searches, and use internal and external resources for gathering data on potential candidates/sources/industry information. 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

Reports to a Vice President

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research/Information Gathering

  • Manages research projects associated with search assignments, including monitoring work efforts, creating and implementing communication plans, managing issues and risks, reporting progress, and closing projects as appropriate.
  • Identifies appropriate target organizations and candidates using existing internal and external resources and resources as needed.
  • Analyzes organization and candidate profiles to determine the highest priority targets for each assignment.
  • Performs queries of the Bespoke Partners (BP) database and manages individual projects through the lifecycle of search.
  • Conducts ongoing competitive analysis and monitoring of trade publications for new research strategies and markets to target.

 Administrative

  • Adds newly identified individuals to the database and updates existing database records.
  • Foster Business Partner/Team Relationships.  
  • Actively participates in bi-weekly research staff meetings. Serves as an industry or field subject matter expert to teammates and business partners.
  • Reviews relevant trade publications and updates the BP team on key topics and changes within a given industry.
  • Initiates a strategy start-up meeting with search team once a new search is booked.
  • Develops a research strategy for each search and communicates with principals/partners on progress.

 Knowledge Management

  • Provides suggestions and input about changes to Research Delivery processes.
  • Contributes to Research Delivery and BP projects as a subject matter expert as required.
  • Documents the research strategies and resources used on each assignment using department standard templates. 
  • Builds and documents a network of information sources to enhance internal research capabilities.
  • Contributes to the growth of the BP knowledge management repository by suggesting additional publications and developing research tools when resources do not exist.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 1 – 3 years of experience in research within a professional services environment.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to employ critical thinking and analysis, and proven success in creative problem solving.
  • Metrics-driven with a knack for compiling, interpreting, and communicating data.
  • Able to present and communicate information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Advanced computer skills are necessary, including proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 
  • Must be comfortable with using reference materials, databases, online services, and internet searching tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Boolean search logic experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people.
  • Results-oriented mindset with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as on a team.

Austin, TX PART TIME INTERNSHIP POSITION

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Bespoke Partners is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is able to adapt to different working styles and needs. The ideal candidate must be proactive and able to prioritize and multi-task with attention to detail and confidentiality. This position requires an individual who is resourceful and has excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to interact in a professional manner with Bespoke Partners employees at all levels within the organization.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

This position reports to a Principal or Partner.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist team with research projects associated with search assignments.
  • Assist team with transcribing/formatting candidate interview and client call notes.
  • Assist team with creating pitch decks (proposals) for clients.
  • Assist team with creating/updating weekly client deliverables.
  • Create Excel spreadsheets. 
  • Create PowerPoint presentations. 
  • Conduct ongoing industry research and monitoring of trade publications.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 


 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

Education:

  • Currently studying at an accredited 4-year university with a focus in Communication Studies, Human Resources, Economics, or Business. Preferably seeking an internship for college credit.

Key Qualifications

  • Able to commit a minimum of 10 hours/week in the office during business hours.
  • Working experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Working experience creating and revising written reports and presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
